No
it's not a problem with the website, the series one
is now a but sideways. Also those boxes are not a cheap
way to fix wings they are to stop customers in catching
there clothes on the metal as they walk passed in the
bodyshop.
As you can see the engine bay is looking better, no
rot all in primer. Slow progress but progress non the
less.
As you scroll down you will see our biggest project
to date. |

Yes
the chassis restoration. We had to take the last of the running
gear off, the tank, brake lines and rear axle.

MMMnnnn... nice shiny new petrol tank, am I becoming obsessed or
is that sexy? |

The restoration of the chassis time. As you can see most of the
restoration work has been done we need to attach the sills now and
then prepare the underside. Below this is a how to store your parts
clean them, label them up, bag them.

Look
at the engine bay now starting to take shape, looks like new this
is when it starts getting enjoyable as we are now rebuilding a car,
not just breaking it apart.

Things are going well with all the chassis work done and the new
floorpan sills and chassis legs in position work has started on
preparing the under site for a coat of special sealant, primer and
white topcoat. After preping with rotary wire hub (hi-tec wire brush)
we apply zinc first coat that is the silver colour you can see.
I have
added a new feature which I will add to the older pages its the
little eye glass icon on the picture when you see that you can enlarge
the image. |
